CRITICAL COMPONENTS FOR MISSILE GUIDANCE AND LAUNCHER

Patriot is a long-range, all-altitude, all-weather air defense system to counter tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and advanced aircraft. As well as the USA, Patriot is in service with  Germany, Greece, Israel, Japan, Kuwait, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia and Taiwan(Ukraine). It has  been cleared for sale to Egypt.  Patriot missile systems were deployed by US forces during Operation Iraqi Freedom. The systems were stationed in Kuwait and successfully destroyed a number of hostile surface-to- surface missiles using the new PAC-3 and guidance enhanced missiles.

The Navy's RIM-7M Sea Sparrow and the Air Force's AIM-7 Sparrow  are radar-guided, air-to-air missiles with high explosive warheads. They have a cylindrical body with four wings at mid-  body and four tail fins. The Navy uses the Sea Sparrow  version aboard ships as a surface-to-air anti-missile defense. The versatile Sparrow has all-weather, all-altitude operational capability and can attack high-performance aircraft and missiles from any direction. It is widely deployed by U.S. and NATO forces.
